2 weeks in Gig Harbor, part 2

There was an abundance of space, garden, sea and trees for Elena to explore up in Gig Harbor. It was also great to spend a long uninterrupted time at home with Elena's grandparents, who had been dying to see her . . .

Elena's first experience picking apples -- there weren't many left this late in summer, but we found a couple stragglers!

Playing with grandpa on the stairs -- he was tickling her feet.

Dad clearly had a rough night, but Elena is only interested in her cantaloupe -- she discovered the joys of melon on this trip.

More melon -- this time a watermelon. I'll bet the floors were pretty sticky by the time we left.

Asleep in the garden after a full day.
