Elena's Second Day!

Some more photos from Elena's second day with us -- the hospital staff has done a good job of cleaning her up. She shines up pretty nice . . .



Today's activities consisted almost entirely of feeding and sleeping. Elena proved from the get-go that she is a true natural at breast feeding.

So peaceful when she's sleeping that mom & dad dozed off, too.















But for a newborn, Elena is very, very alert. Even within a few minutes of being born, Elena was staring intently at her new bright, colorful surroundings, and at everyone in them.
